Ballymoney Museum reopened in May 2009 following a £400,000 redevelopment supported by Heritage Lottery Fund.
At Ballymoney Museum visitors can explore the vibrant history of the Borough. On display are rare finds from the Bronze and Medieval periods as well as exhibits associated with the political upheaval of the late 18th century and the United Irish Rebellion. The museum also holds a unique collection of artefacts and memorabilia associated with Irish Motor Cycle Road Racing.
Why not visit the museum’s new public information area?
The new resource area now includes limited website access for family history research. Ideal for genealogists, students or local people who are curious about the story of this historic region.
